A tendril climber with stout fleshy quadrangular stem. It is used to help heal broken bones. so call asthisamharaka (which avoids the destruction of the bones). Also properties have been attributed to treat osteoporosis, asthma and cough and the external hemorrhoids and Gonococcus.
